A guide on how to use this website for browsing & shopping with us.
COMPLETING YOUR ORDER in 3 easy steps
1. ADD items to your cart, then click the CHECKOUT button. (top left)
REVIEW the order and click the CHECKOUT button (bottom right of page)
2. Add your DETAILS (or if registered & signed in they will be inlcuded)
3. Choose a PAYMENT METHOD & SHIPPING option.
Click the CONTINUE button.
When ready click the PLACE ORDER button.
Look for green notification windows/boxes for successful sign in, registrations or order placements , or red notification windows/boxes for issues or errors.
CLICK or move your MOUSE POINTER over an image to ENLARGE any of the supplied photos.
See below for detailed information on how to shop and manage your cart.
If you click the Title or Image, it will take you to a fuller description, allowing to see full size images.
CHANGING VIEWS
At the top of the stock page you'll see a link "View as:", click the drop down arrow to choose either GRID, LIST or COMPACT LIST to change your view.
GRID (partly condensed information)
Two columns of items per page, showing the stock name, LARGE photos, prices, plus an 'ADD TO CART' button.
LIST (full information)
Every item is shown with full description, stock name, LARGE photos, prices, plus an 'ADD TO CART' button.
COMPACT LIST (fully condensed information)
Smallest list, shows minimal information stock name, SMALL photos, prices, plus an 'ADD TO CART' button.
BREAD CRUMBS
Typically they appear horizontally across the top of a web page.
Ours is just below top banner, top center of the listed items as small writing.
(It won't appear until you begin to navigate through the site.)
It provides a link/s back to each previous page you navigated through to get to the current page or the parent pages of the current one.
Example ; Home - Gemstone Beads - Amethyst Tumbled Beads
You can easily click the words 'Gemstone Beads' to go back to that category
Or click Home to go to the home page.
WISHLIST
The wish list feature is a great way to shop, plan and decide on your purchases.
The Shopping cart is active for 4 weeks, keeping your chosen items intact until you complete and pay for your order (unless an item sells out), but the wish list is permanent if you use your registered account!
You are able to add ANY item you like to your own wishlist for future reference. If the item sells out in stays your Wish list regardless.
Any item saved in your wishlist can be easily added to your shopping cart when you are ready to buy. (if it is in stock)
Remember MOST items are one off originals and cannot be repeated. If we delete the actual item listing completely (end of a design line) it will be removed from the wishlist
ADDING ITEMS TO YOUR CART
With any item/s you are interested in and viewing; CLICK the 'ADD TO CART' button. A window will appear telling you that the stock has been put into your Shopping cart.
You can choose to CONTINUE SHOPPING or go to CHECKOUT to complete and place your order. You are welcome to continue shopping, adding items that interest you into your shopping cart. You can adjust/alter/remove the items from your cart at any time, so feel free to include anything that you feel you require as you go.
YOUR SHOPPING CART
As you shop and browse the site, adding items to your shopping cart, you will see in the top left corner of the web site page a running total, showing the total of all the items you have chosen so far. This total includes the cost of items, it does not include the shipping cost, which can be seen once you click CHECKOUT and add your details.
The items in your cart will not be assigned to you as an order until you click the PLACE ORDER button. (see 'Completing You Order' below). You can even sign out and come back later and the items you added to your cart will still be there, for up to 4 weeks. (Unless those items have been sold).
ADJUSTING YOUR CART
If at anytime you wish to review your order, click the CHECKOUT button, and your cart and all its items will be shown on the screen, (right hand box), you may have to scroll down if you have more than one item.
You can make several changes to your items;
ADJUST QUANTITY
Each item has a small box with the number originally purchased beneath it. You can increase or decrease that amount and click the UPDATE button to refresh your cart and apply those changes showing a new total.
REMOVE
You can remove any item completely by clicking the small X to the right of the item listed. This deletes the item entry and refreshes your cart showing a new total. You can continue shopping normally after any changes have been made. You can also clear the cart completely (bottom left 'clear cart' link ) and start again.
PAYMENT METHODS
We have TWO types of payments available on the site. Paypal & Direct Deposit
*PAYPAL
Click the PAYPAL option, add any comments if required and then click PLACE ORDER.
You will be directed to PAYPAL's secure site, once there you can login and after checking your details, CONTINUE to place the order. PayPal is how individuals and businesses can send and receive money online with their credit cards or bank accounts safely. Your card or account details are never made public. It costs nothing to setup and pay for goods and services with PayPal. Go to www.paypal.com.au for more information.
*DIRECT DEPOSIT (for Australian buyers only)
Click that option and then click PLACE ORDER.
We can then email you with our Direct Deposit details. It can take up to three working days for your payment to appear on our statement. So getting your order quickly is NOT suggested with this method.
SHIPPING
You may have noticed that when you register your CONTACT INFORMATION, ADDRESS & SHIPPING METHOD are all shown and completed. Otherwise create an account with us as you checkout, or choose 'Checkout as Guest' which means you will have to enter your information every time you place a new order with us.
NOTE; Any of these can be altered by clicking the word 'EDIT' in each appropriate box. You can add/change those details. But generally they are left as untouched as they are created with the information from your Profile.
The shipping cost and type is automatically generated based on the WEIGHT of your order & your location.
At this time we send all orders Registered or Express post in AUSTRALIA and REGISTERED AIRMAIL Parcel post to NEW ZEALAND, USA & UK. See our Shipping page for all the details and costs. Click here
For Australian Buyers
- Registered Post has $100AUD insurance value
- Express Post only has basic tracking
For Overseas Buyers
- Registered Post International has tracking and $100AUD value insurance
We do not refund or replace lost or missing orders sent via Express Post.
If you require a greater insurance value, please contact us prior to ordering.
SEEING YOUR ORDER STATUS
Any orders that are PLACED by you can be viewed and their status checked.
IF 'REGISTERED' : Simply sign in. Click the ORDERS link on the right hand side under the MY ACCOUNT column. Registering makes future ordering much easier.
'GUEST' : If you ordered as a guest, enter your email address in the "track my order/s" area (right hand column) to be sent an LINK (via email) to see your order status.
OPEN Means the order has been placed in the system, but has not been processed yet.
PROCESSED The PayPal or Direct Deposit payment is being confirmed.
COMPLETED All payments have been confirmed, the order is packed and will be shipped to you the same day or next available working day.
Please allow;
1 - 3 working days for Australia via Express Post.
1 - 5 working days for Australia via Registered Post.
3 - 7 working days for New Zealand via Registered Airmail.
6 - 10 working days for all other destinations via Registered Airmail.
CANCELLED The order has been asked to be canceled by you. Repeated ordering and cancellations may result in denial of a valid account with us.
DECLINED/FAILED There has been an issue with your PayPal or Bank payment, please contact us immediately.
YOUR PROFILE
Your profile contains your personal details, your name, address and contact numbers etc so that we can keep in touch and ensure that any orders arrive to you safely.
You can update/amend information and change your password in your profile easily, once you sign in, go to PROFILE DETAILS under the MY ACCOUNT column. Any changes made to your profile generate an email telling you a change has been made, this is a security feature that keeps your information safe by letting you know if it has been altered.
PASSWORD
If at any time you have difficulty with your password or access to your account try using the built in 'Forgot your password?' feature when you go to Sign in. This will send you an email with a website link, which you can click and gain access to your profile. Once there you can enter a new password.
Though we can never see your password, we can make changes to your profile and reset your password manually if needed. You can also get in touch with us directly at any time.
CONTACT ME - Click here
There is a contact us page on the website that lets you fill out an easy form to ask us questions. Or if we have talked before email us directly. You can always call or SMS us if you have numbers from earlier emails or invoices.
Terms:
Gemstone or Stone - refer to genuine Gemstones.
Silver - refers to either Old Silver beads that may have a Sterling component or a Silver coloured plating
Sterling Silver - refers to 925 Silver.
Silver Tone - refers to silver coloured beads or charms, not sterling silver.
Tribal or Hill Silver - refers to antique or hand made Silver, less than 92.5% Silver content.
Glass - refers to man made OR naturally occurring glass products/beads.
Treated - refers to a process that alters or enhances an already natural stone. Usually the colour or strength composition.
This product is electronically distributed - refers to electronic files that I sell, that require downloading once purchased.
